Actors from Bollywood Who Passed Away in 2020

 This article is about   Bollywood actors whom we loosed in 2020.  RIP to all the actors who passed away in 2020; you will live on in our hearts forever.

1) Sushant Singh Rajput 

Sushant Singh Rajput was born on January 21, 1986, and is most known for his roles in Nitesh Tiwari's directed Chhichhore (2019).  He is also known for Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), Kai Po Che! (2013), M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016). Rajput began his career in the Mumbai theatre industry after dropping out of his engineering programme at the Delhi College of Engineering. He continued to appear in Hindi TV serials, starting with the romantic drama Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and ending with the lead part in the soap opera Pavitra Rishta from 2009–2011. In 2013, he made his Bollywood debut in the commercial and acclaimed triumph Kai Po Che!.  On June 14, 2020, he was discovered dead, hanging from a ceiling fan, at the age of 34.

2) Rishi Kapoor 

Rishi Raj Kapoor was a Hindi film actor, director, and producer from India. He was born on September 4, 1952, and has appeared in 167 Bollywood films. He received a number of honors, including four Filmfare Awards and a National Film Award. He made his acting debut as a child in his father Raj Kapoor's film Mera Naam Joker (1970), for which he was nominated for a National Film Award for Best Child Artist. His first major role as an adult was in the teen romance,  Bobby (1973), in which he co-starred with Dimple Kapadia and won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Between 1973 and 2000, Kapoor played the romantic lead in 92 films. He made films like Khel Khel Mein,  Sargam, Karz, Kabhi Kabhie, and Chandni during this time. After the year 2000, Kapoor has acted in films like Agneepath,  Love Aaj Kal, Do Dooni Chaar, 102 Not Out, and Mulk, Luck by Chance. He earned the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his performance in Do Dooni Chaar (2010), and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Kapoor & Sons. His final film performance was in The Body, a suspense thriller (2019).  On April 30, 2020, he died of leukemia at the age of 67.

3) Wajid Khan

Wajid Khan is an Indian music director who was born on October 7, 1972. People adore his songs alongside his brother Sajid Khan's combo. The audience adores his music-directed songs such as Ahista Ahista from Yeh Zindagi Ka Safar (2001), Tere Mast Mast Do Nain from Dabangg (2010), and Soni De Nakhre from Partner (2007). He also had a solo singing career and was nominated for several awards for his work as a playback artist. In 1998, Sajid–Wajid composed the soundtrack for Salman Khan's Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya. They composed the music for Sonu Nigam's album Deewaana in 1999. They went on to compose music for a number of other films. The music pair has also composed music for a number of Salman Khan films. They also composed the title track for Bigg Boss 4 and Bigg Boss 6. Sajid–Wajid also composed "Dhoom Dhoom Dhoom Dhadaka," the IPL 4 theme song, with Wajid singing the title track.  He died of cardiac arrest on June 1, 2020, at the age of 47.

4) Irrfan Khan 

Irrfan Khan is an Indian actor who was born on January 7, 1967. Irrfan Khan has appeared in both Indian and Hollywood films. His work in the Hollywood films The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), Life of Pi (2012), Jurassic World (2015), and Inferno (2016) has always been praised and adored. Khan made his film debut in 1988 with a minor role in Salaam Bombay!, which was followed by years of adversity.  Following his debut appearance in the British film The Warrior (2001), he went on to star in the plays Haasil (2003) and Maqbool (2004). He went on to receive critical appreciation for his roles in Life in a... Metro, The Namesake, and Paan Singh Tomar, for which he received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Male. He won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of the title character in the last of these. He also had lead roles in The Lunchbox, Piku, and Talvar. Among his other notable performances were Slumdog Millionaire, New York, Haider and Gunday, and the television series "In Treatment." The comedy-drama Hindi Medium (2017) was his highest-grossing Hindi film, and his final performance was in the sequel Angrezi Medium (2020). In 2018 and 2021, he got the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for both of these performances. He was demised of a colon infection on April 29, 2020, at the age of 53.

5) Asif Basra 

Asif Basra is an Indian actor who was born on July 27, 1967. He appeared in a number of Bollywood films as a supporting actor. The audience adores and respects his performance. Basra appeared in the critically acclaimed films Black Friday by Anurag Kashyap and Parzania by Rahul Dholakia. In Michael O. Sajbeland's One Night with the King, he co-starred with great actors Omar Sharif and Peter O'Toole. In 2010, he played the father of Shoaib (Emraan Hashmi) in Bollywood's top-grossing film Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. Basra was also recognized for his theatrical skills, having played five different parts in Feroz Abbas Khan's Mahatma vs Gandhi. A child with spina bifida in Main Bhi Superman and Horatio in Hamlet are among the other notable performances. He was discovered dead hanging in his residence on November 12, 2020, at the age of 53.

6) Jagdeep 

Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey aka Jagdeep is an Indian actor and comedian who was born on March 29, 1939. His comedic performances in Bollywood are always well-received. He died on July 8, 2020, at the age of 81, from age-related ailments.
